1. Final Exam
- Per MISD policy this semester, I will use your Final Exam grade if & only if it helps your course average.
- Our exam will be a total of 12 questions covering each of these topics from the 2nd semester: Polygons & Quadrilaterals, Similar Polygons, Square Roots & Right Triangles, Trigonometry, Area & Perimeter, Surface Area & Volume.
- Yes, you may use your formulas, notes, & review during the exam.
- You may take the Geometry Final Exam anytime during this timeframe:
- Open at 8:00 am on May 18.
- Close at 11:59 pm on May 27!
- Let me know if you need to extend your time to May 28. I must turn in grades by the end of the day on May 28.
- Check your grades on Skyward.
- Do you have any missing grades or zeroes?
- If yes, then you can still work on any of those assignments in Canvas & Delta Math. When you finish any late work, send me an email with your name & and assignment name so that I can transfer your grade to Skyward.
- If no, yay!
- Does each of your assignment grades in Delta Math and Canvas match the grades in Skyward?
- If yes, yay!
- If no, then send me an email to let me know if there are any mistakes or if you have any questions. Please be specific and include details.
- Are you passing the 6th grading cycle & the semester?
- If yes, yay! You do not have to take the exam unless your parents/guardian say you have to.
- If not passing, do you have any assignments to submit? Turning these in will probably bring you up to passing.
- Also, if not passing, plan to take the Review & Final Exam to raise your grade.
- You must do the review if you plan on taking the exam.
- Click here for the Review. (Links to an external site.) Do questions #1-37 only. Skip questions #38-47.

- You may do the work on a separate sheet of paper. Or, you may use a free app on your iPad to write on this pdf electronically. (app suggestions: MetaMoji Note, Notability, & GoodNotes)
- Remember that our old notes are posted on our Class Website in Geometry Topics (Links to an external site.).
- Click here to check your review answers (Links to an external site.).
- You do not have to submit your review. This is for you to do & check in order to prepare for the exam.

1. Resources:
- Description: A composite figure is a shape composed of a combination of other basic shapes. To calculate their total area, we will split the composite figure into their basic shapes and use those area formulas.
- Look over your formulas from the prior Modules. We will use a combination of these formulas to calculate the perimeter and area of composite figures. Note that if it is a half-circle, then you will need to divide area or the circumference of the circle by 2. These formulas are in your notes from the Modules on April 13, April 20, April 27, & May 4.
- Watch supplemental videos and practice questions on Khan Academy. This part is on an "as needed" basis. (Watch, forward, pause, replay the video clips as you need to for your info.)
